What Inspires Your Design ![]() Today, I went to an Interview and the Interviewer asks me what inspires me or where does my inspiration come from. My response was everywhere; I often find inspiration in Home Décor, Nature, Patterns, Colors and Shapes. My favorite source for inspiration… TYPOGRAPHY. The use of type can open up a world of possibility. Websites like: http://typeverything.com, http://friendsoftype.com, http://blog.8faces.com, http://thedesigninspiration.com, are all great resources for unique typography. But, once I left the interview I remembered my book “The Artist’s Way- A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity.” This book is written by Julia Cameron. The book takes you through a few exercises to clear your mind for creative thoughts. If you are a Designer this book will truly help you to refocus your creative thoughts and help you to kindle new ideas, for Creative Professionals it’s a must read. ![]() As a Design Professional it is extremely important to keep up with the latest trends and technology changes, this gives you the edge needed to stay on trend.
